P.K. Subban Surprised Girlfriend Lindsey Vonn With GOAT-Themed Retirement Gifts

P.K. knows who the GOAT is.

Ski racing legend Lindsey Vonn had an unexpected retirement party waiting for her when she arrived back in the U.S. after closing out her career with a bronze at the World Championships in Sweden. 

Vonn arrived in Nashville after 16 hours of traveling from Åre in central Sweden to find that her boyfriend, Predators defenseman P.K. Subban, had decorated the house with a variety of GOAT-themed items—retirement ballons, a cake (complete with Vonn’s signature pink ski poles) and a stuffed goat doll.

Digging into that cake sounds like a great way to start of retirement, but maybe after a nap. 

Vonn and Subban confirmed their relationship when they attended the CMT Music Awards in Nashville together in June. They appeared together on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s “Fashionable 50” issue in July.
