Watch Keenan Allen's First Press Conference Following Trade From Chargers

Allen is happy for a new chapter in his life.

The Los Angeles Chargers will look drastically different, least on the offensive side of the ball. After 11 years of donning the powder blue, Chargers star wide receiver Keenan Allen will call Chicago home.

Allen was traded to the Chicago Bears on Thursday after he refused to take a pay cut. The Bolts' front office felt like their hands were tied and had no option but to let go of Allen. The trade was quite a surprise, and fans were upset by the move.

Nonetheless, it starts a new era for Allen and the Bolts. The 31-year-old is getting settled in Chicago, and it all began on Saturday in his introductory press conference. The press conference occurred early Saturday morning; here's the former Charger talking to the Chicago media.

The Bears have already made a flurry of moves to improve their team, and the addition of Allen is one of their better ones. On top of that, Chicago added one of the best running backs in the free agent market, D'Andre Swift, and they hold the number one pick.

After the team traded Justin Fileds, it's clear as day they'll select USC star quarterback Caleb Williams. The six-time Pro Bowler will be a huge help to their soon-to-be rookie quarterback. Allen will be severely missed in Los Angeles after all his years of service and the joy he brought to Bolt fans.

There's a ton of promise for the Bears now. As for the Bolts, they'll need to make many moves to rejuvenate their fan base.
