NFL Draft Day is coming up, Charger fans! This year's draft, like many, is filled with talented prospects that are sure to set their footprint in the league. However, there is always those handful of players who come in and set the league on fire for years to come. There will be plenty of guys like that for this year's class, and experts believe Texas running back Bijan Robinson will be that guy.

Robinson will go in the first round; there's no debating that; however, could the Chargers get their hands on him? We're not sure, and they'll probably lean toward another position. Nonetheless, NFL expert for the Pro Football Network, Kyle Smith, lists the Bolts as one of the best fits for the 21-year-old.

"Ekler was known for his skills out of the backfield, so if they were to move on, replacing him with Robinson could be perfect for the Chargers' offense. Justin Herbert is the future of the Chargers’ offense, but pairing him with a blue-chip running back like Robinson may be the ticket to pushing Los Angeles over the playoff hump."

The Austin Ekeler situation is still hanging above the Chargers, but regardless, the Bolts need more depth in the backfield, and Robinson could fit the bill. LA is likely to select a pass catcher in the first round (if they keep it), so Bijan might not be a realistic option.

The running back position is expendable, and there will be plenty of other RB options in the draft. Smith has some high praise for Bijan, and rightfully so. Bijan will be special in this league; however, that might not be with the Bolts.
