The World of Sports Reacts to Chubb Injury
Social media has shown an outpouring of support, prayer and well-wishes from the biggest professional athletes on the planet in regard to the gruesome injury that Nick Chubb suffered during Monday Night Football against the Steelers.
The injury was so awful that the broadcast initially refused to share the replay. The entire stadium gasped in horror live as the replay was shown on the stadium's big screen. The clip did eventually make the rounds on social media and it wasn't long before the reactions rolled in.
Some of Chubb's former teammates also weighed in to support Chubb as well.
It is very clear that this injury will certainly end Chubb's season and could also threaten his career. The Browns Digest's own Pete Smith just wrote about an article about an initial report put out by Jordan Schultz, where the early diagnosis reveals serious concerns. The injury happens to be the same left knee that was completely shredded in 2015. He previously tore the PCL, MCL, LCL, with cartilage damage in a game versus Tennessee.
