The Cleveland Browns played their starters in spite of a substantial weather delay that took almost 90 minutes. On the lone offensive drive, Elijah Moore, a receiver acquired in an offseason trade with the New York Jets that has been sensational in camp including on the drive, was checked out in the blue medical tent before heading back to the locker room to have his ribs evaluated.

Moore had an X-ray on his ribs, which came back negative.

The Browns sent a second round pick to the Jets in exchange for Moore and a third round pick that would become fellow wide receiver Cedric Tillman, a rookie out of Tennessee.

Since arriving in Cleveland, Moore has been a source of a highlight per day. They have used him all over the field including out wide, in the slot and out of the backfield. The first offensive play of the game, Moore shifted out of the backfield to catch a pass near the sideline. He would run for 18 yards on a handoff up the sideline.

The season doesn't start for another month, September 10th, so there is potentially plenty of time for Moore to get healthy. But they want him healthy and able to continue practicing alongside Amari Cooper, David Njoku, Donovan Peoples-Jones and Nick Chubb with Deshaun Watson on that side of the ball.
