The Cleveland Browns announced they’re inactive players for today’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals. NFL rules only allow teams to dress 48 of their 53-man rosters on game day making them eligible to play. The following players were listed as inactives and won’t play today.

C - Luke Wypler

S- Juan Thornhill

CB- Kahlef Hailassie

DT- Siaki Ika

DE- Isaiah McGuire

Thornhill will have to wait another week to make his Browns debut. He popped up on the team’s injury report on Wednesday and was limited in practice. He was held out of practice on Thursday and Friday as well.

On a positive note, defensive end Alex Wright will play and has been working his way back post knee surgery that he underwent after an injury he suffered during the Hall of Fame game. He has practiced the last two weeks on a limited basis and was a full-go for the first time on Friday.

In addition wide receiver Marquise Goodwin will be active and should play. This will be a huge lift for the Browns offense in the passing game.
