Alex Wright Questionable to Return with Chest Injury

Browns defensive end Alex Wright leaves game with a chest injury and his return is questionable.

The Cleveland Browns are in the middle of a disappointing performance on both sides of the ball after the first half against Baltimore. They began the third quarter down 21-3 to the Ravens.

The team has had several players leave the game and come back in due to being banged up with temporary injuries. Defensive end Alex Wright has suffered what the team is describing as a chest injury and has been listed as questionable to return.

This isn't great news for a Browns defensive line that has been stuck on the field for too much time as the Ravens have been able to sustain drives. The Browns offense hasn't been able to get anything going to keep them off the field either.

Wright has had a great start to the season and has played in just over 25 percent of the team's defensive snaps. It is unclear what play Wright was injured on as he never went down on the field.

Currently they are down to three defensive ends with Wright out of the game. Rookie defensive end Isaiah McGuire has yet to be active for a game this season.  We may see Maurice Hurst take some snaps at defensive end on early down situations to help keep the rotation fresh.

We will keep you posted with any further updates as they become available.
