Josh Gordon claimed off waivers by Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks have claimed wide receiver Josh Gordon off waivers, Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer reported on Friday.

The move comes just one day after the Patriots released Gordon off of injured reserve on Thursday.

Gordon had been playing through an injured left knee and was knocked out of the team's Oct. 10 win over the New York Giants. He suffered the injury while attempting to make a tackle after a Patriots fumble.

The Patriots acquired Gordon in a deal with Cleveland in September 2018. The 2013 All-Pro played 17 games in New England, tallying 60 catches for 1,007 yards and four touchdowns.

Through six games in 2019, Gordon totaled 20 catches for 287 yards and one touchdown.

The Seahawks face the Buccaneers on Sunday, Nov. 3 at 4:05 p.m. ET.
