Fantasy drafting, and life, are often all about balance. We want a mix of safe options we assume will be reliable and some players who may be higher-risk but with the chance of a bigger payoff. We all want to be that fantasy owner who hits on a sleeper or sees something coming that nobody else does. So while we’re reading what the experts say, and forming our own opinions, it’s fun to think about the full range of expectations.

In other words: It’s time to make some bold predictions. Fortunately Dr. Roto has 32 of them, one for each NFL team.

Are these the likeliest things to happen this season? (Calvin Ridley the WR1 in Atlanta? Jordan Scarlett becomes Christian McCaffrey’s touchdown vulture?) Probably not, otherwise they wouldn’t be considered bold. But they’re certainly fun to think about before drafting. And the chances are we’re going to look back at this list and see a bunch that Dr. Roto got right.
