Kyle Kuzma to make season debut vs. Mavericks

Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma is expected to make his season debut on Friday when the team plays the Mavericks in Dallas, The Athletic's Shams Charania reported on Wednesday.

According to Charania, Kuzma will be eased back into the Lakers rotation and could join LeBron James, Danny Green, Anthony Davis and JaVale McGee in Los Angeles's starting lineup.

Kuzma has been sidelined with a left foot injury that he sustained while training with USA Basketball this summer.

Last season, Kuzma averaged 18.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game while shooting 45.6% from the field.

The Lakers are 3–1 to start the 2019 season and will face Dallas on Friday at 9:30 p.m. ET.
