In what SI senior writer Ben Reiter calls the best value move thus far, the Arizona Diamondbacks snagged 3-time World Series winning southpaw Madison Bumgarner for five years and $85 Million. Reiter notes that it’s been a refreshing change for MLB teams that missed the postseason to be very aggressive in improving their rosters via free agency.
