Floyd says the Yankees and outfielder Giancarlo Stanton are under the most pressure to perform and make a deep run. Floyd notes Stanton’s injuries have hindered his production this season. While the slugger has returned to the Yankees lineup, Floyd says manager Aaron Boone is throwing Stanton “in the fire” and will be expected to produce at the top of the order.
