When it comes to the sport of golf, we really cannot look at the history of the USC women's team without immediately mentioning Allisen Corpuz. She truly left her mark on the game and the university starting from her first year in 2017 all the way until her senior campaign in 2021.

Corpuz stands at 5'9 and has been able to transcend her golf skills all throughout the years. Just taking a look at her career with the Trojans, she was able to be named an All-American on two different occasions, ended her senior year as the number 15 ranked golfer on the World Amateur rankings and also participated in the Curtis Cup team in that same year.

She has now obviously turned pro and has a 2023 US Women's Open victory along with three top ten finishes in 2022 in the ISPS Handa World Invitational.

Her 2023 US Women's Open victory took place at Pebble Beach golf course and it was the first women's major event. Corpuz hopes that the result will be more women's events held in that course.

"They talked about TV ratings and how good they were," said Corpuz. "And part of that was just how historic of an event it was. There's a lot of people who don't even play golf that have heard of pebble beach and it was just really exciting to see that surge of viewers that we had. Women's golf is definitely worth watching and it was just so exciting that we got that kind of support."

We certainly believe that Corpuz will continue paving the way for more women's events to take place not just in golf, but in sports all across the world!
