USC Women's Golf: Allisen Corpuz Makes Trojans History with Latest Feat

She just keeps going!

Most fans of golf, let alone just the USC Trojans community, are well-aware of who Allisen Corpuz is. The 25-year-old spent five years at the University of Southern California where she was able to become one of the best players in her age group as each of her campaigns went on.

Corpuz posted a 71.57 stroke average and was gifted with All-American honors. Her skills went put on full display with the Trojans as she participated in the Arnold Palmer Cup and Curtis Cup on multiple occasions.

She has continued to make strides now that she has embarked on her professional journey and has already made history just a couple of years in. Corpuz's recent selection to Team USA's Solheim Cup roster made her just the fourth former Trojans player to make it there.

"Allisen Corpuz earned her spot as an automatic qualifier, via the U.S. Solheim Cup standings, to compete for Team USA at the biennial Solheim Cup on September 22-24 at the Finca Cortesin in Casares, Andalusia, Spain. Corpuz will join a list of 12 athletes who are set to compete for Team USA as they face Team Europe at the 18th Solheim Cup. The team is comprised of the top seven players in the U.S. Solheim Cup standings, the top two in the Rolex Women's World Golf Ranking and three captain's picks."
