USC Football: Caleb Williams Molds His Game After NFL Super Bowl Champion

The USC star quarterback tries to mold his game after this four-time NFL MVP.

USC superstar quarterback Caleb Williams is the talk of the town as we lead up to the 2024 NFL Draft. The draft is still a ways away, but Williams was still at the forefront of the event with the NFL Scouting Combine coming and going.

Although he didn't participate in the combine, he still was in attendance at Indianapolis and spoke to the media. Williams garnered a ton of hate from fans on social media and faced some odd questions from the media. Even through that randomness, Williams kept his head high and was professional throughout the process.

Barring anything peculiar, the 2022 Heisman winner will be the number one pick. The potential number one pick stopped to chat with the NFL social media team on X and was asked a few questions. One of the questions asked was, 'Who do you model your game after?' Williams's answer was the four-time NFL MVP and New York Jets quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.

The 22-year-old also said his favorite player of all time is Rodgers, followed by the seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady.

Although Williams has garnered a ton of comparisons to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, it's Rodgers whom he models his game after. The similarities are uncanny between Williams and Rodgers; both are massive threats with their legs and can turn nothing into something more often than not. Also, they have a similar stature; Williams is 6-foot-1 and weighs 223 pounds, while Rodgers is 6-foot-2 and weighs 223 pounds.

Their skills are very similar, their builds are identical, and they both possess a big arm. Rodgers isn't done yet, but he's helped mold many quarterbacks throughout the years, and Williams is the latest.

The NFL Draft will take place on April 24th in Detroit, Michigan.
