Ex-USC Standout WR To Lead Team Onto Field Against Stanford

A beloved Trojan will be back in the Coliseum.

USC will have a special guest in attendance for tonight's football game against Stanford. Former Trojan, Amon-Ra St. Brown, is going to be leading the team out onto the field before the game.

When he was at USC, the former star wideout was one of the best receivers in the Pac-12. In his three seasons in Los Angeles, St. Brown led the Trojans in most receiving statistics.

His best season came in 2020 during a shortened Pac-12 schedule. In 6 games played, he caught 41 passes for 478 yards and seven touchdowns, the most in his college career.

St. Brown was drafted in April 2021 in the fourth round by the Detroit Lions.

Since making his way to Motwon, St. Brown has been one of the best receivers in the NFL.

In two seasons, St. Brown has already racked up over 2000 yards and 12 touchdowns.

St. Brown opened up his season on Thursday night as the Lions went to Kansas City and beat the Chiefs 21-20. The wide receiver was a large part of the Lions' offensive attack, as he had a touchdown and 71 yards receiving.

Now that Detroit has a long week, St. Brown is able to come back and support his alma mater.

St. Brown is the newest addition to many celebrities and former Trojan players to lead the team out of the tunnel.
