Spring Football is set to get underway at Oregon on Thursday, but recruiting will continue to occupy plenty of headlines.

On Wednesday, a pair of the top recruits in the 2025 class took to social media to announce their plans to take official visits to Oregon. Both players play defense and have taken unofficial visits to Eugene in the past.

5-star DB DJ Pickett

The 2025 Tampa (Fla.) Zephyrhills standout is one of the best players regardless of position in his class. He's been tabbed both a cornerback and a safety, depending on what recruiting service you look at, and he's flashed his ability as a wide receiver in 7on7 tournament play this offseason.

He'll be in Eugene the weekend of June 21 and ranks inside the top-10 players nationally. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound defensive back ranks No. 7 overall on the 247Sports Composite and has more than 40 reported scholarships to his name.

Oregon has yet to land a commitment from a defensive back this cycle, although Pittsburg (Calif.) safety Jadyn Hudson may be the player they have the best chance with here in mid-March.

All-American safety Faheem Delane

Delane will be in town one week before Pickett, opting to take his visit on June 14. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound safety is ranked the No. 2 safety in all the land according to the 247Sports Composite and like Pickett, was also in Eugene earlier this year for a Junior Day visit to Oregon.

The Ducks are battling the likes of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the in-state Maryland Terrapins for the Olney (Md.) Our Lady Good Counsel defensive back.

Other safeties to know for Oregon fans in the 2025 class include Cleveland (Ohio) Shaker Heights safety Trey McNutt, Anquon Fegans and recently offered Georgia standout Tae Harris.
