Swainsboro's Demello Jones Signs Letter of Intent to Georgia Football
Early signing day has come, and the Georgia Bulldogs are solidifying their No. 1 2024 recruiting class. Helping them land the top class is Demello Jones, who signs his letter of intent to Georgia Football.
Jones is a safety coming out of Swainsboro High School, where he played multiple positions to help lead them to the 1A Div 1 GHSA State Championship game against Prince Avenue H.S. Jones had four touchdowns in that game, including a 98-yard pick-six. Swainsboro would go on to lose the game by a final score of 49-32.
In his senior season for the Tigers, Jones racked up 1,329 all-purpose yards while adding 32 tackles, two interceptions, and five pass breakups. Jones has 155 tackles, seven interceptions, and 15 pass breakups for his career at Swainsboro.

Now that Jones has wrapped up his final game and classes with Swainsboro, he will graduate early from high school and join the Dawgs as they prepare to get ready for a fight in South Florida when they go take on the No. 5 Florida State Seminoles. Jones will be joined by plenty of other 2024 commits who will be on campus practicing as well.
